Asas de Portugal Wings of Portugal Portuguese Air Force display team was established in 1977 from 102 Squadron at BA 11 Air Base in Beja with six Cessna T 37C trainers to represent the Portuguese Air Force at the Royal International Air Tattoo in the United Kingdom.

The Team performed in 146 airshows and 40 foreign demonstrations prior to its disbandment in 1992 following the retirement of the T 37s

Asas de Portugal was reformed on 27 June 1997 from 103 Squadron Advanced Jet Training equipped with ex Luftwaffe Alpha Jet trainers and took part during 45 year anniversary celebrations of the Portuguese Air Force in Sintra but was disbanded in 1998.

Asas de Portugal was once again reactivated in 2005 from 103 Squadron at BA 11 Air Base in Beja as the official aerobatic display team of Portuguese Air Force with two Alpha Jet trainers.
