Royal Moroccan Air Force Patches Maroc Aérienne Royale
The Royal Moroccan Air Force is one of North Africa’s leading military aviation services. It established on 14 May 1956 as the Sherifian Royal Aviation (Aviation Royale Chérifienne). The Sherifian Royal Aviation was redesignated Royal Air Force Force (Aérienne Royale) on 1 February 1964.
The Air Force operates a modern fighter, transport, helicopter and training aircraft fleet. It has participated in regional security missions, international exercises and counter-insurgency operations across North Africa and beyond.
Air Force squadron patches, badges and aviation memorabilia reflect the heritage and operational history of Moroccan military aviation. Aircraft associated with the service include the Mirage F1, F-5 Freedom Fighter, Alpha Jet, C-130 Hercules, CH-47 Chinook and F-16 Fighting Falcon, alongside a wide range of transport and helicopter units. Many insignia commemorate operational squadrons, air bases, multinational exercises and specialised aviation roles within the Moroccan armed forces.
This category explores patches and aviation collectables, preserving the squadron traditions, aircraft history and military aviation heritage of Morocco from the Cold War era to the modern day.
