The Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) is one of Asia’s most modern and capable air forces. Established on 1 October 1949 during a period of growing regional tension it expanded greatly during the Korean War. ROKAF undertook combat missions during the Korean War. ROCAF Patches Republic Of China Air Force Taiwan CNAF

The Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF) is one of Asia’s most experienced and strategically important air forces. ROCAF is responsible for the air defence of Taiwan. It was established in mainland China as the Chinese Nationalist Air Force CNAF in 1920. It participated in combat against Japanese Forces in WWII and against the People’s Liberation Army in the Chinese Civil War. ROCAF Relocated to Taiwan after being pushed out of mainland China during the Chinese Civil War. As a result of ongoing threats, the Air Force has developed into a highly capable modern air arm. Consequently the Air Force includes advanced fighter, reconnaissance and air defence aircraft.
