Indonesian Air Force Jupiter aerobatic team was formed in 1996 equipped with eight Hawk Mk.53 aircraft from Skadik 103 performing for the first time on 23 September 1997.

 

In 2001 Jupiter merged with the Elang Biru display team to form the Jupiter Blue aerobatic team.  

 

Jupiter Aerobatic Team JAT was reformed in 2008 with four Korean Aerospace KT 1B Woong Bee training aircraft with its first public display on 4 July 2008 at Yogyakarta. Following its second display at Jakarta in November 2008 Jupiter did not perform publically until 16 March 2011 at Yogyakarta following a training program with the Australian Roulettes display team and increasing the display formation to six aircraft.
