Flight History 1957 1995.
2 Recce Flight Army Air Corps Greys formed in 1957 in Malaya was one of four Flight of 656 Air Observation Post Light Liaison Squadron subsequently renamed 656 Light Aircraft Squadron Army Air Corps. The other Flight were 7 Recce 11 Liaison and 14 Liaison and provided support for the Armys 17 Ghurka Division Black Cat. The Flight disbanded in December 1969.
2 Flight Army Air Corps was formed in 1983 at Netheravon to provide support to Allied Command Europe Mobile Force Land AMFL as part of the British contingent. The Flight came under the control of 7 Regiment Army Air Corps with Gazelle aircraft. The Flight disbanded in the early 1990s.
