6314 Air Base Wing was activated at Osan AB South Korea on 25 March 1959 to carry out base host duties at Osan Air Base for the resident 314 Air Division. 6314 ABW was redesignated 6314 Air Base Group when the Wing was reduced to group status on 20 July 1961. 6314 ABG was upgraded to wing status and redesignated 6314 Support Wing on 1 July 1964 and was inactivated on 1 November 1971 with its duties taken over by the newly formed 51 Air Base Wing.
