History
To retain the lineage of 32 Tactical Fighter Squadron following its inactivation at Soesterburg Air Base USAFE activated 32 Air Operations Group at Ramstein Air Base Germany in July 1994 as part of the USAFE Theater Air and Space Operations Center USAFE TASOC at Kapaun Air Station to consolidate operational command and control of joint air space and cyberspace forces. One of the USAFs five Falconer Air Operations Centres 32 AOG provided control of air and space combat capability to maximize the ability to achieve air and space superiority. The Group developed and executed air campaign plans to incorporate all aircraft and other resources needed to maximise superiority with strategy targeting attack planning and air tasking. The Group comprised 32 Air Operations Squadron 32 Intelligence Squadron and 32 Information Warfare Flight. The Group largely planned and provided the operational execution of Operation Allied Force NATOs bombing of Serbia Former Yugoslavia.
32 AOS 32 IS and 32 IWF were inactivated when 32 Air Operations Group was redesignated 32 Air and Space Operations Center on 1 November 2005. 32 Air and Space Operations Center was inactivated on 1 December 2006 and was replaced by 603 Air Operation Center.
This patch dates from 2003.
