315 Squadron RNLAF based at Twenthe AB took over the Double Dutch Display for the 1980 season with the same aircraft unfortunately one aircraft crashed and its pilot Hans Könings was killed. The Squadron continued with two new NF 5s for the 1981 and 1982 seasons.

Eindhoven based 314 Squadron RNLAF took over the Double Dutch displaying at Eindhoven on 21 October 1982 and continued displays from 1983 to the end of the 1985 season after which Double Dutch was disbanded.

Double Dutch was reactivated by 314 Squadron at Eindhoven in 1988 for the 75 Jubilee of the RNLAF with two new NF-5As but following technical problems bad weather and the crash of the Frecce Tricolore at Ramstein Air Show the team was disbanded.
