Draken F 35 Operational Conversion Unit received its TF35 Draken aircraft in 1970 at Karup Air Base for the Draken training role. The unit disbanded in 1992 on the standing down of the Draken Force at the end of the Cold War.  

This patch dates from the early 1980s.
