Squadron History

449 Maritime Training Squadron was activated on 1 April 1968 at CFB Greenwood with CP 122 Neptune aircraft for anti submarine warfare training. The squadron was disbanded on 29 August 1975 with it duties being taken over by 404 Maritime Patrol Squadron
