101 Gruppo was disbanded in 1994 with the retirement of the G 91 Yankee and reactivated at Amendola Air Base as 101 OCU Operational Conversion Unit for the AMX equipped with AMX T two seat training aircraft under 32 Stormo providing pilot conversion training to the AMX and standardisation.. The aircraft of 101 Gruppo OCU CB and 13 Gruppo CB are assigned to 932 Gruppo Efficienza Aeromobili GEA which makes them all available to the both Gruppi.
