The Wings 1 Staffel Squadron the Foxes became a member of The NATO Tigers Association in 1969 even though its emblem was a fox. 2 Staffel Squadron was named the Vikings.

LeKG 43 was reassigned to 3 Air Division in 1970 and 431 Staffel hosted the 1971 NATO Tiger Meet NTM at RAF Upper Heyford.
